Do you want to grow your business, but need access to more capital? Are you having trouble securing a loan for your micro-business? If so, apply for one of the several grants the NASE will bestow in 2008.

The NASE has designated up to $200,000 to be awarded as part of the 2008 Business Development Grant program. Individual grants will be made in amounts of up to $5,000 per applicant.

Applications for the 2008 NASE Business Development Grant program will be accepted from February 1, 2008, through November 30, 2008 and awarded on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified upon receipt of all required documentation, and a determination will be made on the application within 30 days.

Criteria used in evaluating applications and awarding grants include:
  • Review of identifiable business need

  • Detailed use of the proceeds of the grant

  • The potential of the grant to satisfy the identified business need

  • The potential impact of the grant on overall business growth and success

The 2008 NASE Business Development Grant program will award grants at the sole discretion of the NASE.
